A Very Special Day of the Year | 15-04-2022

There are many important and special days of the year but this day on Friday, 15th April 2022, is considered to be the most special and important to all Christians because in line with the Hebrew calendar, it matches with the day when Our Master Jesus Christ, Instituted the awesome event known as "The Lord's Evening Meal" as recorded in the Holy Scriptures.

True Christians all over the world have specified this day to commemorate that day as the Lord has commended.

In this post, I'll tell you how I spent that special day.

Morning

In order to assist in cleaning the place where the event will be held, I woke up around 7:00am. I wen through the daily text and considered the Bible passage concerning the events that took place on the day that this event was instituted.

After that, I left the house with m brother to go for the cleaning.
We arrived at the Hall around 8:30m. We helped those present to clean the chairs, mop the floor and set up the sound system so that everyone present for the event will benefit fully.

This took us till 2pm because we had to connect an additional television and speaker to the ones already installed in the hall. After that, We stopped at my Uncles house that was close to the hall and dropped our belongings so that it will be easier for us to dress up there and attend the event without having to go back to our apartment which is Far.

Afternoon

If You noticed, I've not been active for sometime now and that's because my laptop had a problem. Prior to that Friday, I ordered for a new (HP 840 G2) laptop.

That Friday afternoon, the delivery guy called to tell me that he has arrived at the garage with the laptop. I didn't rest, I went to collect the package. I did this within an hour. It was already 5:00pm.

It was vital that those that assisted the Audio & Video Department in the morning should be at the event hall by 6:00pm, that is, one hour before the program in order to put things in place.
No time to rest again, I took my bath, prepared and left to the Kingdom Hall for the event.

Evening

After everything have been perfectly okay, the memorial began by 7:00pm as supposed. A brother handled the talk which highlighted all the facts about the death of our master. He started by telling us why the death is necessary, he spoke about the benefits of the death, the blessings associated with the death, the reason and ways we should show love to the Master as a way of expressing our gratitude for the death and also why the memorial should be held everyday.

During this period, I was helping those outside the hall to see and hear the speaker with the aid of a television and laptop that Brothers donated for the event.

Conclusion

The event ended around 8:00PM, We helped to tidy up and lock the hall after everyone have gone home.
I was more than happy that I helped everyone to enjoy the program with the little knowledge I have about operating gadgets. I really experienced the happiness that comes from giving off our knowledge and skills to help others.
