Effective leaders ain't too smart

Have you ever had a boss that doesn't get it? Maybe they were a little behind time or lives in another reality? Or you wish they were smarter? Good but sometimes smarter isn't better.
In a workplace, an association or in politics, smarter leaders are more effective but, decades ago a physiologist Dean Simonton along side two researchers conducted a research on leaders across different fields, using IQ test and concluded that "smarter leaders are better, side - as long as they're not too smart". These too smart leaders due to their high intellect establish ideas that their surbodinates cant comprehend, so preferably the leaders should learn to rely on their charisma more than their brains.
