The Summit of Ever Rest.
From chill on mountains high.
Drifts and flakes by millions fall.
Plummeting stars sunk in banks
That stand three stories tall.
Frozen to the crumbling ledge
Don't mind the burn of frost.
They all thaw out when summer comes.
The bodies all but lost.
Pass green boots and begin assent
To heights untouched, so pristine.
Climb and struggle, to live or die
To see the world like never seen.
Tread where bodies have known to fall
Never again to be discovered.
Though lost and unmoveable
Their dreams were at least recovered.
Stoking fires for those that climb
"I'll get there, I'll see it all for you".
Shallow breath and empty tanks
The crew is turning blue.
