Bodies Rockin' - Original Work.
The stench of the bilge was maddening, sailors strewn about like so much cattle.
All I could hear was the waves slapping the hull, mocking me with each gentle touch.
Striding out across the deck was a chore now, peg leg striking nothing but pity, no fear.
The silver beard had run white, ghosts danced around the broken mast.
Grape still held deep in her belly, we rode sluggish across the brackish water.
Mooring always another day away, another sailsway, another bloody storm.
Turn back cried the men, hardly can hear them over the sloshing of pigs stuck squeeling.
I'll have none of it, walk the plank if you want mercy.
When the British came, our back was to the storm.
I never turned the wheel, but somehow we struck the top of the wave.
Rode it right down into the middle of the school.
Not a single minnow survived.
'ow the men sung that night.
"Please 'isur, nowt more meat!!"
A dozen ropes across my bow,
Hold salt licked reminders for the unbroken.
There will be blood.
And my hook is never satisfied.
Let the ships, Sail.
