The Change From Within

The change you are looking for should, as a matter of necessity, begin with you. This is why I tell people to meet the requirements of their requirements first before they look for others to meet them. If you need a good friend, for example, you must first present yourself as a good friend.

In most cases, the change you want will only come when you have changed your approach. Of a truth, you cannot maintain the old ways of doing things and expect to have another result. If you desire another result, then you should try out something new.

Some people have complained of how friends leave them but most times, they fail to realize that it could be from their attitudes. The truth is, if you are the only one that is always right among your friends, then you may be the one that is wrong without even you realizing it. The change you cannot effect in your life, do not expect others to effect it.

In line with one of Newton's laws of motion, things will continue in a particular way until you have introduced relevant force to it. The "force" there connotes agent of change. Until change is enforced, new result will not be achieved.

A story was told about an inventor; Thomas Edison; who tried repeatedly to succeed with his invention. I believe that he must have been changing his approach and trying out new ways because when he finally got his invention, he quipped that in all those times he failed, he discovered ways through which you cannot achieve the result.

If you do not like your current situation, it is not time to lay complains but time to effect a change. Always have it in mind that results will answer to the force of change, so initiate the change you require today.
