Sunny Days Ahead

It does not matter how thick the darkness is or how long the night may be, the dawning of a new day must arrive. This is the reason behind the popular quote "light at the end of the tunnel". In the midst of the situations you are passing through, one thing should give you hope and that is; the Sunny days are coming. As long as you still have life with you, then you have a fair chance of getting better.

Always remind yourself that your challenge is not the heaviest in the world. Others have overcome their own challenges, why not you? You have also overcome challenges in the past, why not this one? When others share their own stories with you, you will realize that your challenges are actually a prayer request for others.

When the cloud is heaviest, it only proves on thing - it is about to rain. When the night becomes so dark, it only proves that the day is about to dawn. In the same way, when it seems your challenges are becoming so heavy, just know that your salvation is already around the corner, so hold on and don't throw in the towel.

When you interact with people and they tell you their problems, you will realize that yours is not the worst. I once humorously made a comment to my friend a few years ago after he complained about what he felt is a problem. I told him that if it is possible for people to lodge their problems in a public vault and come back later to claim them, they will come back to realize that their problems have been stolen by people that do not see their problems as problems.

There are many things that you call problems that if you will be sincere to yourself, you will know that it was once asked for. For example, someone may have graduated but still complaining for lack of job but forgetting that he once prayed for admission and got it and now he's a graduate.

Talking about your problems does not make you overcome them. You need to be grateful for where you are, then work towards where you need to be. You need to shift your focus and your attention from your problems to the solution. This is because if you focus on the problem, it will continue to appear to be bigger but if you focus on the solution, you will realize how easily surmountable the problem is.
