Living A Life Of Joy

Sometimes, the challenges that come your way have only one purpose; to attack your joy, and when they succeed in attacking your joy, they have gotten hold of a very sensitive part of your life. This is because, joy; as simple as it may look; holds unimaginable power to spark up hope in the midst of hopelessness.

Believe me, the world is full of annoyance and vexation but it is your choice to either be engrossed by the vexation or to flow in joy unspeakable. Joy, in every true sense, is not a gift, it is a choice that proceeds from deep down the spirit.

As similar as joy is with happiness, they are entirely different in the true sense. The reason is; happiness is a direct function of what is currently happening around you. Maybe you got a new employment, or you got a new car or got financially favoured, it is normal for you to be happy. Joy, however, is without recourse to what is currently happening around you.

You can be in the midst of gross darkness and still be joyful - the situation notwithstanding. You might also be in the midst of heavy losses and your heart will be filled with joy. This hinges on the fact that; even though you have made some losses, everything was not lost and for that reason, your joy should remain intact.

No matter the challenge you are facing, there are others that see it as a prayer point to even get to that level. You may be complaining that you have not been gainfully employed since you finished from university, while someone else at the corner of the street is praying just to see the four walls of a university. if you can give yourself a deep thought, even among challenges, you will see many reasons to remain joyful.

As long as joy remains in place, the challenging situation will certainly get tired of you and fizzle out. It is only with joy that you can maximize the full potentials of what life has to offer. Choose joy today and you will eternally live above depression.
