Becoming Uncrackable
When heat is applied to a material, the effect of the heat is not only determined by the intensity of the involved but the nature of the material receiving the heat. This is exactly the reason if you pass heat through wax, it will melt it and vaporize it. However, when you pass the same amount of heat to clay, it will further solidify the clay. This just goes to prove that the situation we find ourselves does not define our outcome but what defines our outcome is how we are built (that's our nature).

I'm sure we have, at some point, heard the popular quote that "what won't kill someone will make the person become stronger". Well, it does not always follow that pattern. You will only become stronger if you have developed yourself to take on the challenges as they come, otherwise you may crack under the pressures of them.
Maturity comes when someone begins to assume a considerable responsibility for his actions and the outcome of his actions. Do not always wish for life to be gentle with you or to treat you fairly, you need to be constantly braced up for impact. No one gets stronger by wishing. You get stronger by the actions you take.
When an athlete wants to build up his physical strength and muscles, he will not wish for it, rather he will hit the gym and do the needed workouts and pass through certain strains and stresses. Gain, most times, comes from pain. If you refuse to take the pain to build up yourself today, when challenges comes tomorrow, they may crack you up.
To become uncrackable, you need to shift attention from the prevailing situation and focus more on building yourself both mentally and otherwise. Remember this; the same wind and storm that distorts the flight of other birds is the same that lifts the eagle. You see, success or the lack of it is not a function of the prevailing situation you find yourself in, but it's a function of what you are made of.

When an exam is set at the end of the lecture, why is it that the students will have different results and some may even fail? Okay think of it; the same lecturer, the same lectures, the same curriculum, the same exam, yet different results. This goes to prove that in life, the denominator is not the challenge but you yourself. So you need to work on yourself in order to make greatness out of life.
