Gameweek 31 The Blank and The Blinds! My Fantasy Squad
The blank gameweek 31 is finally here. I've been planning for this week since gameweek 28 and the injury to Harry Kane in Gameweek 30 aided in my transfer moves for the gameweek.
With only 4 fixtures available due to the FA cup quarterfinal games being played this weekend.
I had 2 free transfers coming into this gameweek but I struggled to find value in the market with just 4 fixtures on offer. That notwithstanding, with Tottenham confirming that Harry Kane will be sidelined for at least 4 weeks I brought in Steve Mounie from Huddersfield bearing in mind the 2 goals he scored against Palace in gameweek 1.
I also brought in Stanislas in place of Jordan Ibe who seems to have lost his starting spot in the Bournemouth first team as they host a leaky West Brom defence.
In defence, I have brought in Schindler in place of Ben Mee of Burnley to complete a -4 point hit which is more like a -2 points hit.
I still have my bench boost, my second wildcard, my free hit chip which I will utilize in the next blank gameweek, my triple captain chip is usually kept for one of the double gameweeks.
Mo Salah is the obvious captain option as the most owned player in the fantasy game.
