The Quasar Framework is a node.js command-line-interface and a vue.js component library for developing and publishing a website; for building and optimizing a progressive web-app, a way to make native apps for Linux, MacOS, and Windows with Electron; and even a system for creating mobile apps for Android and iOS with Cordova. It does all of this from one user-maintained code-base using tricks of the trade, best-practices and a curated selection of node modules. And it is 100% open source with a liberal MIT license. SOURCE
The quasar framework has joined forces with utopian and they are now technical partners, utopian is building the new front-end using quasar, and the two teams are helping each other, with that said and since our work here is supported by utopian, the translation teams are trying to help to localize the documentation of quasar to Arabic, Spanish, German and other languages.
Translation Overview
- This is my sixth contribution to this project.
- This project contains just one file with 4453 words, and it's all about the open source world, we can consider it as a guide for beginners, as it teaches a lot of stuff about the world of open sources software etc...
The strings I translated today, talk about the Developer Certificate of Origin, Contributor License Agreement, Non-Disclosure Agreement and more...
The Developer Certificate of Origin (DCO) is a legal statement made by a contributor where they certify that they themselves have authored the contribution and that they have legal authority to contribute this code.
The Contributor License Agreement (CLA) is a contract between the owner of a project and code contributors, this contract protect the rights of both owner and contributor.
The Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is a contract that you may be required to sign if you will be working with an organisation that has trade secrets to protect, I actually first heard of this on silicon valley ( A tv show ), which by the way I advise anyone who wants to start a business/project to watch it, it's a comedy but the show contains a lot of information that may help startups etc...

The source language of this project is English, I am working on making this project available in Arabic, before this project I worked on many other open sources projects like busy.org, utopian, steemit white paper (Genesis) and many other projects.
Word Count
The total number of words I translated is: 1127
And if we removed the untranslated texts the number of words will be: 1072 words
REPORT

Most of the translation is accurate. We can understand from the language and level of difficulty used in this project, that this document is really meant for a lambda user, nonetheless, there are in there, and as always, a few terms that do not exist in Arabic, or simply because there are no targets for them e.g. trying to find the proper word for a website that is not available in Arabic, such as ‘GitHub’. This shows us that a proper documentation/research is always needed to present a good contribution, which you did to find the definition of some concepts. That being said, there are a few issues that I already mentioned in your last contribution, one of them is the use of (ذالك) instead of (ذلك) and some other minor issues such as using (ملاحضة) instead of (ملاحظة). Try to be consistent, in the first contribution, you did choose to use the source word (signed-off-by), but in the later strings, the concept was translated into Arabic. It is always a good practice to note down this information, because it is sometimes difficult for a person to get rid of his old habits, and the best way to remember those micro corrections is to note/write them down. I also suggested some reformulations that you can check directly on Crowdin.
As for the presentation, there is a clear improvement, but still, more information is needed, especially if we take into consideration many interesting subjects that you tackled in this contribution, you cited some of them in your presentation, it would have been great if you formulated a little more about the different entries. Try to enhance/perfect your future presentation to be more engaging, aesthetically and intellectually, I am sure that we will all benefit from it.
