Mountain Walk
Good morning Steemit!
I invite you to share a walk in the mountains with me. The scent of pine trees on a warm breeze and the sounds of small birds chattering in the branches and the buzzing of many bees on flowers is a morning chorus I could never grow tired of.
The temperature of Autumn in Spain is ideal for such walks. Far from the blistering sun of June through August of over 35 degrees, now we are blessed with a charming 26 degrees. Warm enough to wear just shorts and a small top and still get a deep suntan but without the feeling that you are damaging your body with those punishing highs of mid summer.
More flowers are blossoming too in this season. For many plants just stop whatever they are doing and just meditate on survival in the summer, now there is the feeling of renewed vigor and love of life and bursting into flower to celebrate each day rather than struggle to survive each twenty four hours!
With the onset of occasional rainfall too everything is looking refreshed and greener than before. It is a delightful experience to wander the Spanish countryside like this. I hope you enjoyed my selection of photos this morning. I wish you a beautiful day whatever you are doing!

It's so interesting that the forests and plants are becoming 'older' everywhere in Europe and then you show us how it is in Spain :) It looks much nicer than in summer when everything is brown and dry. I understand now why you choose to stay there towards the end of the year and not in summer.

This region of Spain is known as the Costa Calida ( the warm coast) and it encompasses some very beautiful mountain ranges as well as beautiful coastline. It is very much the best time to visit and explore - Mid September through until April/May is the best. The summer seems to arrive a little earlier every year though so there is barely springtime here in this region any more.

Lovely to hear from you and yes I would highly recommend it. There is so much to enjoy here! I haven’t explored the north much so far beyond some camping around San Sebastián which was gorgeous but took an amazing train ride all the way from Seville through to Paris and saw the whole of Spain flash before my eyes. The green lushness and mountains of the Northern half really caught my attention as I remember - it was years ago I

Nice need to explore Europe more even thought living in England I have been around the globe but missed out my doorstep. always the way next couple of years, I think this will be my plan. Although saving up to buy some land for my grand plan so we will have to see 💯🐒
