My attention was drawn to the trees outside my balcony after I heard multiple pieces of branch breaking and hitting the floor. It was a troop of squirrel monkeys eating their way through lots of ice cream beans and discarding the empty pods which come tumbling down on our roof and to the ground. It always sounds like all sorts of chaos going on! They moved from the ice cream bean tree to a berry tree along side and started munching through those at an amazing speed. They always seem to be in a hurry to eat and run. maybe because they are all cafeined up from the cocoa pods just down the way ( another favourite of theirs 😉 )
