Jungle Daily - Birdlife
It has been a wonderful day for birds. I have been checked out by hummingbirds and caught sight of a certain turquoise bird who I have been hoping to see, after seeing him just once a few weeks ago. He made an appearance at the berries where yesterday the squirrel monkey had been so busy eating. Everyone loves those berries it seems.
First and second photos are both types of Tanager.
This beautiful white bellied Hummingbird is really striking. The first time I noticed him I looked up from my iPad and he was hovering just a few inches away watching me!

And always more, when you think you have seen all there is to see in one location... more come with more colours and more amazingness😍 it is a fact Costa Rica has the richest diversity of wildlife .... I have four pages just for green birds in my bird book !!!!! Four pages for goodness sake☺️ It’s makes identification tricky
