Village Boys of 80’s. by @salahuddinahmad
Dear Friends,
You just think about a family having four children; the older two are girls, and the next two are boys. The family depends on farming with a small piece of land for cultivation. They have only two bulls and a set of plows for cultivation. By the way, the bigger son of the parents was ten years old, and he helped his father in cultivation works as well as a primary school student. Once, his father was too sick to conduct cultivation work. The family was in trouble having food for a family of six members.
The ten years boy sat for the thought of bearing the family steering, saving the family members from starving, treatment of sick father. But, gathering food for the family members daily was the burning issue. He thought and thought about what he could do in that situation. He was surfing his capabilities to rescue the family from the sustainability crisis.
He found he has some knowledge of cultivation works at the time of helping his father. But it’s the only way to rescue the family. He had options before starting cultivation works, leaving the study. But the boy didn’t want to study, so he continued simultaneously.
Friends, just imagine! A lien and thin boy of ten years, suffering from a nutrition deficiency, and having little knowledge of cultivation works, lived in a village and decided to take family wheels and continue studying. He started his real village life in the 1980s in rural Bangladesh.
