これは、マザーテレサの最も有名な言葉だと思います。いつも「くさったれ」と思っていると、人のアラばかりが目について、愚痴っぽくなり、「引き寄せの法則」によって、宇宙に「私は愚痴を言わなければならない環境が好きです」と言っていることになる、と聞いたことがあります。まさに、悪い思考が悪い事態を引き寄せるのです。

その通りだと思います。日本では貧富の差がますます大きくなっています。貧しい日本人がたくさんいるのに、海外にたくさんお金をばらまく日本政府はいかがなものでしょうか。自分のハエが追えないのに、人のハエが追えるか！、と言いたいです。

楽しいことをしていると、姿勢も表情もよくなるものです。私が転職して初めて、社長から紹介された女性は、とんでもない人でした。彼女は笑顔で挨拶してくれましたが、私は「この人はあまりいい人ではない」と一秒で見破ったことがあります。案の定、みんなをいじめて職場の雰囲気を乱している人で、ほどなく首になりました。心がキラキラしていないと、どんな笑顔も台無しです。

あなたに出会った人がみな、最高の気分になれるように、親切と慈しみを込めて人に接しなさい。あなたの愛が表情や眼差し、微笑み、言葉にあらわれるようにするのです。

人間は感情の生き物ですから、聖人と呼ばれているマザーテレサのようにはいきませんが、人には優しくしたいです。人を喜ばせることが自分の幸せにつながっていると信じたいです。

愛の反対は、憎しみではなく、無関心です。

人間は社会的生き物なので、無視されることほど辛い事はないと思います。しかしながら、私達は、マザーのように強くないですから、人との距離の取り方を工夫してうまく生き抜いていきたいものです。
