The Relation Between Human and Nature

One day I asked myself the following question. Is nature like mother or father?

After a few days of thinking, I have an opinion on it. I would like to say that nature is the mother and child who will become mothers, because nature is where life comes from.
Nature is the mother of man in a way because it nourishes us and gives us a place to live, grow and thrive.
And if we need something, we knock on the (imaginary) door of nature and ask him, and his answer can be positive or negative.
Her children (humans) can sometimes hurt her unintentionally or intentionally, and even in these cases they can heal her.
So mother-child (nature and people) is a real relationship.
Now I wonder if other people have the same thoughts as me.
