"What are the benefits of learning the English language?"

Hi steemains, really glad to have you on my post this week. English as we all know is a "Lingua Franca" of the world and is expected to be learnt by all humans to ease communication around the globe.

🔸Do you think learning English is important and why?

English is a language that needs to be learned by all humans because it is important, I see English as a language that we all need to learn for easier and faster communication.

The reason behind my choice that English is important is because.

🔻Most countries like my country "Nigeria" use English as the major means of communication.

🔻 English as a language should be learnt by all because it is a language that can be easier understood due to it's popularity.

🔻English is the lingua franca of the world. Almost all the countries across the world have some individuals who can speak English.

🔻 English is a language that when learnt is considered to be a valuable asset.

🔻 Knowing fully well that you can speak English will equip you with the self confidence to interact with others in the society.

🔻 English can help you to easily obtain jobs because of your knowledge of it.

🔻 While travelling you may come across English speaking people and sign boards written in English. Your Knowledge about English language has now come to play in your daily life by helping you identify what is written on the sign board and also speaking with the English people .

🔻Most of our electrical appliances like the cell phone are produced by English brands and will require a proper knowledge of English to operate them, so learning in will help in this way.

🔸If you have learned English, why did you learn it? And if you have not learned, then do you want to learn in the future? Why?

I have learnt English to perfection and am glad to be able to speak and also write using English.

The reason I learnt English was because I live in a country that speak English as it's general language of communication.

Originally I don't like my language that much but after learning English and realizing that I don't know has to speak my language. I then became encouraged to learn how to speak my own language.

🔸What steps will you take to master the English language? tell us

In other to master the English language you are expected to follow these steps.

1. Ensure you always watch movies that English was use as they major means of communication.

2. Don't forget to make a table of words you have learnt either in your mind or a book.

3. Have conversations with people that speak English only.

4. Travel to an English speaking country,state, town or village to get influenced with English.

5. Try as much as you can to watch news that are spoken in English.

6. Make sure you work on your pronunciations of words.

7. Make a list with a notebook containing the vocabularies you have learnt.

🔸Are you looking for a partner to practice English or feel comfortable learning on your own? Which one seems beneficial to you?

I really know how to speak English fluently but the best method in my opinion is to learn with a partner in other than ideas and knowledge about English can be shared among each of the learners.

Learning together is pleasing to the body and helps the health. English is a language that we all need to take seriously Thanks.
