ETERNITY, Are you PREPARED?
Eternity looks like an impossible word but its existence is too real to be taken for granted. it is said that to be an unending space in time, some have also described it as counting the grains of sand on the seashore, or the measuring of the drops that make up the sea... its a lifetime with an unending God.
Life is like a preshow to the main show which is the eternity and the truth be told, we will all experience it. So the question is not if there is an eternity for everyone but the right question will be, where will you spend your eternity? because even death can't stop it as its only a ladder to eternity.
At this point, ask yourself this question, "where will I spend my eternity? Heaven or Hell." Chose this day where you would like to spend your eternity and are you actually prepared for this eternity because your actions play a role in where you will spend your eternity. Just like a bride who is ready to meet her groom.
You should at every moment be very conscious of what eternity holds and begins to prepare for where you want to spend it. If you have made up your mind to spend your eternity with God and reign is his glory at Abraham bosom like Lazarus did, you have to give your life to Christ and forsake your old ways and your heavenly father is ever ready to take you back into his arms.
I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee. Luke 15:18
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Pray after me
Lord, I come to you and acknowledge that I have sinned and come short of your glory, I confess my sins before you and asked that you have mercy and forgive me, wash me clean with your blood and make me whole again. I promised not to go back to my old ways and help me prepare for eternity in your glorious abode heaven. I thank you because you are a merciful father and have answered my prayers, thank you for the salvation of my soul. In Jesus name have prayed. Amen.
