Introduction

Hi steemians, happy new year friends, is been a long time, hope everyone is alright. I want to thank @madilyn02 for organizing this amazing contest. Based on the theme of this contest, I will be talking about currencies we use in my country.

Naira

The name of the currency we make use of is known as Naira. We are alot of them known as;

1. 5 Naira

2. 10 Naira

3. 20 Naira

4. 50 Naira

5. 100 Naira

6. 200 Naira

7. 500 Naira

8. 1000 Naira

Today I will be talking about only three among those eight I mentioned.

100 Naira

This particular currency was redesigned to this few years ago, it's finer than the old one and it's used to purchase the smallest amount of recharge card in my country. We only have recharge cards of 100, 200, 500 and 1000 Naira.

This currency is currently equivalent to 0.63 Steem.

200 Naira

Recently few currencies were redesigned in my country and 200 naira was among them. I love the old one more than the new one and I don't have a picture of it.

200 naira is the amount we normally use to collect whenever we finish shaving a customer in our salon. This currency is equivalent to 1.25 Steem currently.

500 Naira

The 500 naira was also redesigned in my country recently and I also prefer the older one. I and the people in my country around me, has been complaining that our president changed our currency instead of him to do something more effective that can transform the country.

This currency is equivalent to 3.13 Steem. This is the amount of money we use to collect from customers after we barb their hair.

Conclusion

Each country has their own currency, the Americans makes use of dollars, the Europeans makes use of Euros, the Ghanaians makes use of cedi's, those from the Kuwait which uses the highest currency in the world known as Kuwait dinar.

Once you join one (1) 100 Naira and Two (2) 200 Naira together you get a total sum of 500 Naira just do the calculation of 1 + 2 + 2 which is = 5 then if you add two zeros to each numbers they will be 100,200,200 getting 500. Hope you understand? 😇
