Well, my friends all, meet again with me of course is still about the tutorial menggunkaan Inkscape, if my two previous posts to share tutorials make a logo on this great software Inkscape, then today I want to share another than the other, that is make Art line Portrait by using Inkscape software.

However, before we enter the tutorial, as usual I never get bored to introduce this inkscape software first, so friends are not confused if you later want to try it. But here I only explain in outline, because the detailed explanation of friends can read it on the Wikipedia page or searching on google, and you may also read on my first tutorial post that discusses about Inkscape.

Inkscape is an open source software designed for designers who meet the standards of XML, SVG and CSS, of course you are all familiar with these three terms. besides this software is also under the GNU GPL license, while the main purpose of Inkscape is to menajdi one of the latest graphics tools, besides inkscape is also very easy to use for beginners in the field of art and graphics, because the tool and menu barnya very easy to understand . Well, that's a brief explanation in outline about this inkscape software, and now we start to tutorial.

TUTORIAL

Art Line Portrait

For the first step, as usual for those of you who do not have this software, it can be downloaded on google, then do the installation until finished, then not inkscape by right click and click open.

For the second step, after Inskcape software is displayed on your PC screen, click the file then select Document Prperties, or press CTRL + SHIFT + D on your keyboard, then the document properties page will appear.

The third step, select px or pixel on the arrow arrows document properties, then uncheck the show page border and close the page. or can be seen instructions in the picture below.

The next step, click view on the menu bar, then select costume, then click back view on menu bar then select zoom then click zoom 1: 1, this instruction also in attachment picture below.

Next, click the align distribute object on the menu bar to start the work space setting on the screen, or hold down the SHIFT + CTRL + A key on the keyboard, then on the side page select last selected, Then click edit button, gradient etc. in the menu bar for setting the capacity of objects that we will do later. As an example in the picture below.

The next step, open the folder you want to work on the object click the image and drag it to the Inkscape page that has been set earlier. Well, after the drawing we drag the Inkscape depth then it will exit the command for the option of setting the image, then click embed click from file, click again on (none) auto then click ok, then the image immediately appears on your PC screen, below this.
In this tutorial I use the picture of Achraf Kouhail from Morocco, this picture we have been taken when wee meet at Langkawi Island some time ago, and hopefully the result of this art line become my gift to him.

Well, the next step is, if you want to reverse the image just click on the flip selected object horizontally, then the image will change if previously looked to the right, then now he will look left. Then set the image contrast capacity on the side bar to 60%, this we do to make it easier for us to start creating art line portrait.

The next step, click on the Bezier ccurve draw on the right side bar, then click the regular Bezier path on the menu bar and then click the sign next to it still on the menubar, select ellipse or clip fromboard, here I choose ellipse, but both are equally easy to use, it's just that I'm used to ellipse. As in the picture below.

The next step is to start making a line on any side you like, in the example picture below I start on the eyebrow, make a line with your mouse, click once, drag and hold then adjust the arch with the object, then press enter then click edit path by nodes on the right side bar, eating will appear the points of support to adjust the size of the desired line. Or see the example image below.

Well, now you can make all the lines according to the desired image, for the short or long arrangement of lines made that can be customized to your taste or want to be made exactly as the original picture, it's up to you how you play your own imagination and do not have to fully follow my drawings in this tutorial, or do not need textually with this tutorial, because this tutorial is only bookmark.

The next step is after all the lines have been made as in the picture above then, now click the selected and transform the object on the original image and move the sideways. Then click on the whole on the art line portrait then click the object on the menu bar then select the group, this we do to unify all the lines so that art line can we move-move without damaging any part of the line. And the color of your artline can be replaced with any color you want. Can be seen instructions on my picture below.

If it is in accordance with the desired, now we go to the last step of file storage, to save files on Inkscape Software just like in other software in general, ie click Save As file here there are several formats that must be known to you who like the design , for the first select Inkscape SVG format, this format serves to save the file as a project, that is, the file will be saved can still be edited back on time and other opportunities, the second is the PNG format, this format will save your file and can not edited again, so my suggestion keep your file in those two versions.
