Power up means increasing power. Powering up the steemit platform is very important. Powering up means increasing the steem power of the account. Doing so will increase voting power, increase our chances of getting votes from different types of curators and most importantly make our steemit platform stronger. By powering up we can join club5050, club75 and club100. In order to sustain our steemit platform in the future, we must regularly power up. And such power up contests encourage users like us to power up. I have set a target of 800 steem this time. I think I did it too fast and will hit 1000 SP by August. Last season I set a big target which I could not fulfill. So I have set a small target for this season which is getting fulfilled very quickly. Today I power up 18 steem. Below is a step by step explanation of my power up process.
- First I access my wallet with my private active key. Then it shows that I have 18 steem and 576.245 Sp in my wallet.
- Then I clicked to the right of the 18 steem in my wallet. Showed me several options. Since I am going to power on, I click on power up.
- Then an empty house came in front of me. I have to put the amount of steem power up here. Since I will power up 18 steem, write 18 in the empty cell and click on power up
- Then I clicked the OK button to confirm my power up process. If something is wrong here, it can be corrected again by clicking cancel
- Now after powering up I entered my wallet again and it shows that the wallet has no steem and 594.345 sp.
