My trip to Parunthunpara View Point in Peermade 📍

Last week my sister was having her NEET exam at Mar Baselios Christian College of Engineering & Technology, Kuttikkanam, Peermade. She had to report to the exam hall at 7 am in the morning and the exam was till 12 pm, So, We had some free time from morning 7-12 pm. So I searched for the nearest viewpoint and found Parunthumpara Viewpoint which was 15 km far from the college which was in Kuttikkanam. So I took my car and went there, my mom came with me my father stayed at the college in case if my sister need anything before the exam starts.

It was morning 7:30 am when we left the college to Paruthumpara which was in Peermade. The road was foggy it was barely visible. Driving was hard through that road. At 8:15 am I reached Parunthumpara and I was really surprised to see how beautiful it was. If you are a person who likes mountain tops then I will say you will love this place.

The way to Parunthumpara was So beautiful. The place is on top of a mountain and the name Parunthumpara means Eagles Rock, I think the mountain was named Parunthumpara by its eagle vision like view from the mountain top of the viewpoint, I guess.

There is no covid restriction to this place. There is a good road till the top of the viewpoint, which is ideal for cars and bikes. The roads can get really foggy when you reach the top. I always suggest turning on Four blinking light indicators in the car as you reach the top.
