Add options to forward messages and for mentions in a chat in Wire messenger

Components

Wire is a secure end to end encrypted messenger full of gifs, music and video used for communication with friends and family.

Proposal

While you are chatting and long press on a message you only get a few options to choose from as shown in the image below.


I'm proposing that there should be an option available to forward a message to other users. Also when you're in a group chat you should be able to mention users directly in there to be more specific.

Mockups / Examples

In the image below you can see and I've shown that there should be a forward option available right next to options already available to us which would make it easier to access.


Below in the image I've shown how mentions feature should look like.


Benefits

The benefits of having a forward option and mention option implemented are :

By having a forward option available you don't need to copy a text and then send it one by one to many users, you can directly click on the forward option and then select as many contacts as you wish and send them messages and even images and videos too. This will save a lot of time as well.The mentions option in wire messenger would help us to be more specific about who or to whom we want to talk in a group. You will be able reply back to messages in a better way.
