If you ever get a chance to read “How Music Works” by David Byrne, I’d highly recommend it.

He has a whole section about enjoying music. He’s definitely a turntable fan, but which disk format?

Absolutely Vinyl will stay; As a niche; Because it is one of those technologies that shows where recording of sounds started; For some because the sound is different to digital systems; For some because off their vinyl collection. Interestingly, I have lots and lots of CDs and tapes, but never play them, since Spotify and other music services are so easy to launch rather than digging up tapes and CDs. That said, when applying the old style, I think we can appreciate the music (even) more.
