steemit and the beginning of...

I just wanted to upload a photo and say hey!

The sign, if it can't be read well, says "Steemit and my journey into the FOREX world".
Now, like I've said before, a real good dude I hardly know put this out there for his Facebook friends to have at.
When I figure out how to add a link, with his name, I'll edit this post and do that. :P

I had recently been talking to a few of my family and friends about my interest in investing, and the stock trade market. I have a love for maths, often learning new things in my own time, for the fun of it. (I have anxiety and depression, and I get an Asperger's like syndrome where I freak out, become quite low if I don't use my mind enough. I don't know why, but maybe I'll try and find out one day.)

It begun with my love for maths, using techniques and formulas and chance. All things I love doing, and more so, using your mind to try and develop an outcome. This outcome was either a loss - because your formulas, math or technique was wrong, or because chance wasn't on your side; or the outcome is a win, and you're rewarded with a profit that is money. 

Now, yes, the money part had a part to play in why I wanted to begin, but only a small fraction. I am looking for something to do in my spare time, when I'm not at uni doing electrical engineering, when I'm not at soccer burning off my energy, and when I'm not doing my house chores or smoking a bowl, or working at my local fast food restaurant. 

I want something that is going to challenge me, my mind, my intelligence, and something that will make me grow where I can physically reap the benefits as well as the learning journey of it all. That means the losses alongside the wins.

I understand this isn't easy, and I understand it will take a while for me to be able to employ some techniques that I'm confident with, but I am confident in this moment, that I have the ability to at least try. I believe if I work hard enough, I can put my knowledge and love for maths to use and grow in wealth of all kinds; monetary, knowledge, lessons learnt along the way, how to avoid being greedy and knowing when your time is done on this particular market or that one. Growing alongside a community that supports and acknowledges the hard work and effort that it takes to do this. 

I am so very grateful that I was shown this site, that steemit is available to me, that the community on here is so welcoming and supportive. I am so very grateful that I have the opportunity to grow in knowledge and maybe friendships from this social media platform that I am very eager to dive into. 

If you've read up to here, I'm very sorry for the long post! But it doesn't stop here... 

Now, this is my beginning into the FOREX market. It starts here and it starts today. That book I'm holding is going to be filled with research that I do, with knowledge I need to know, and some tips and tricks that I may need to refer to every now and again. 

I am currently using the free course on babypips.com that my friend, who showed me this lovely community, has given me. It's on a previous post I've submitted. I begin that right now, with the hopes of expanding my mind and hopefully reaping the rewards after a patient wait, while I continue to learn and grow. 

The bottom picture is me, building my new desk, for which is in my new room at my partner's place... well, our place now. I've got a room for myself, due to my episodes I have, so I can go in there and calm down. I'm yet to finish it and we have house guests arriving to stay for a few days, so I won't get time to before uni starts. Which is a bummer, but I'll find time, as it's important!
