Sam Allardyce has been appointed as Everton's new manager. The former England boss succeeds Ronald Koeman, who was sacked last month, and has signed an 18-month contract. "We need a strong leader, he gives us that," Everton's majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri told talkSPORT's Jim White. "I really want to give him the support he needs. He can go as far as he wants."
