Lionfish

My wife, kids and I went on vacation at Scottburgh during the Easter holiday. You can see the post here:Holiday at Scottburgh

When at the coast, I like to walk on the rocks during low tide, to look at all the creatures in the pools.

This year was no exception, and to my surprise, I found a Lionfish in a small pool. This is the first time ever that I have seen one of these.

I took a video of this fish with my cellphone. The water was very clear thus the video came out ok.

This fish is a poisonous fish and should not be touched. You should read a post from @denisdenis found here to see what can happen when stung by a fish (Although a different type)
