Fictional Story: When Betrayed,Who will you turn to?
Amy and Dan had a typical whirlwind romance story.
They lived together with an understanding that they were done playing games and will start a family.Eventually,her son named Marcus lived with them.
The business they both started were profiting good thus they levelled up in their financial status.
Dan started partying with friends leaving her at home.He comes home before the sunrises and sometimes stays out until the next day.

Whenever Amy tried calling him, he rarely picks up the call and if he did,he would ask her in his obviously annoyed voice what could she possibly want from him.She has to think of something else to say when the truth is she only wants him to come home.
She cannot tell him her desires because it pisses him off.Even accuses her of being clingy and has trust issues on him.
Dan even wants her to explain every purchases Amy makes which made her uncomfortable everytime.
The receipts of his night out bills hurt her.
The unanswered calls hurt her.
His negligence of her hurts her.
The exchange of flirtatious messages hurt her.
She felt unwanted and disrespected.
She cannot function well as a mother to Marcus which made her feel terrible.
Amy tried to stay strong in front of her son but she’s dying inside.

There are times that she tried walking away but he would somehow made her come back just to suffer once again.
One day,she stooped so low and called one of Dan’s girls.The one who consumed most his time and money.

Amy:“Pls try to understand that we are just having issues now.Don’t let yourself be in the middle of our chaos.”
Girlie:“Ok I’m sorry but you have the wrong girl.That wasn’t me that was my friend who’s dating your husband.”
Ofcourse she was lying.
Amy:“Alright,pls keep this between us.I don’t want our kid to be affected by our quarrels.”
Several days have passed,Dan came home outraged telling Amy that the girl she called told him about their conversation.
He told her she was so cheap for doing that.
He also told Girlie that Marcus isn’t his son and they weren’t married.
Amy bursts out in tears and buried her face on her palm.

She ran towards God’s arms.And with a heavy heart Amy prayed
Lord,I am not an obedient child of Yours.
I often hurt You.
I ignored you.
I set my eyes on him instead of fixing my eyes and heart on you.
Now I know how it hurts You.
Father,carry me.
I am so tired.
These troubles are out of my control.
He is out of my control.
Please Father hide me inside your arms.
Shield me from this world’s pain.
Take over my life.
No matter how it may drastically change its course.
Let Your will be done.
Amen.
Dan’s escapade continues.
He still ignores her yet manipulates her.
But she now has peace inside of her.
God’s holy spirit comforts her everyday and night.
She told herself,“If it is God’s will to end our relationship then it is His way of ending my misery.Praise be to God.”
Dan noticed these changes on her and interpreted it as her being cold to him.
He tried to reach out for her attention but she can only feel numbness.
She wasn’t expecting him to come home anymore.
They lived in the same roof but lives separate lives.
Loneliness drowns Amy everyday.
She was then tempted to flirt with another guy.
But later realized this wasn’t God wants.
As she was about to end the affair Dan discovered it.It might have been a chaotic event but she still has this peace inside her.
She thought maybe God allowed her to be weak and these things to happen so that she can finally be free of him.
She was waiting for him to kick her out with her son.
But God moves in mysterious ways indeed.
The Lord gradually but drastically changed his ways.Amy can barely believe her own eyes.
God took away their finances and gives them just enough to live.
They eventually been given their own offspring.
Another son whom they named,Gratian(Latin name meaning “grateful”).
Dan and Amy had a simple celebration of their marriage and built a God-centered family together with their sons.
Temptation keeps knocking on their door.
But Amy knows who to turn to anytime she needs help.
She knew whose arm to hide whenever the devil’s minion attacks.
Deuteronomy 31:6
6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
