MEGATHREAD: Post Promotion for MAP Forum Members
There are three ways in which Mapsters can promote their posts to other members.
1... Add a comment to this MegaThread with a link.
OR
2... Create a new post in the #mapsters sub-forum and add comments to that thread. Make sure your initial post has a meaningful title that includes your name. Also, to receive upvotes from MAP itself, please post from within the forum.
A reminder that post-promotion in the chatrooms earns nothing unless someone actually lands on your post - on here, you may even promote older articles and get rewarded for your link even though that article has expired. Hence, I would encourage that all Mapsters create their own dedicated post; it will be like a landing page showcasing your work.

3... Just use the #mapsters tag as the first tag in your post and it will appear in the #mapsters sub-forum.

I think I got it! And if I understand you right - choose one of those options. I guess the mapsters tag on the post and leave a link in the comments is fine. But you want us to post the link either below this post OR below the intro post we wrote. But not both. Right?

Yes, Steemit doesn't care about the order of tags, so your post will still show under all tags used, but chainBB has always operated with the first tag goes into the appropriate forum. For a forum it makes no sense to have one article in 5 different forums. If you ever wish to post something in multiple forums, I think it best to post in one, then create comments in the others linking to it.
