My First Day On Steam Monsters + Card Openings

Hey Steemians,

I have been hearing about Steam Monsters on Steemit, so I decided to give it a try. I signed up yesterday and played a few games. After a couple of wins and losses, I kind got the general hang of the game. From my research, I noticed players posting the cards they receive. I am not sure if everyone gets the same cards at the start of the game, but here is what I got:

I made due for a while battling, but after I leveled my player to Bronze II, I was having a harder time keeping up with some of the players. I thought about it and figured out I needed to get some more cards to get going. I went ahead and bought five booster packs to help get me started. Here are the results of my five packs:

I thought I got a couple decent cards out of the booster packs. It sucks that my gold was the "Peaceful Giant," I was hoping for a better gold. I will be listing that for sale. I ended up finished out the night making it to Bronze I. I will admit, I enjoyed playing the game, and I am hooked. This is my first post about it and my first day playing, so go easy on me. Any valuable information for a new player would be awesome and greatly apricated.
