A Charity work done by රෝද දෙකේ රස්තියාදුව - A day at Pettah - Chapter 02- 5% Sl Charity

Hi everyone... Today I'm going to present to you chapter 02 of this article set. After receiving item donations, we prepared the list of items to be purchased. Then we decided to buy them at the lowest-priced location. We got several quotations & selected the lowest price for each item. Then decided to purchase item-wise from the cheapest locations. After that, we planned to go to pettah on a Friday. In here we had to face a problem. Most of our members were unable to get leave from their working places on Friday. But I was lucky to get a leave on that day. Early in the morning, we went to pettah by two cars. Then we parked our vehicles in Malwaththa road car park & went to the shops. We did more bargaining with the sellers before buying the goods. We were able to purchase most items when 2.00 pm. We were so tired on that day. We worked without having our lunch too. After purchasing finished, we went to the car park & come back with our cars to load the purchased items. After loading them we started to travel to Moratuwa.

One of our friend's house was at Moratuwa & we decided to do the packaging there. My car was fully loaded with the stationery & school bags. They were heavy than we thought.

We were able to unload them at the friend's house at about 3.30 pm. Then we ordered lunch through an online delivery method. After having lunch we had some discussion to finalize a date for the packaging process.

Before start the packaging process we had to collect some items from the donator's locations. So we made a list of pending items & decided on dates to collect them from the donors.

After having these discussions I was able to come home at about 8.00 pm. This is how we ended the purchasing day & stay tuned for the next chapters.
