Once upon a time, there lived a young monkey who lived in a forest. The name of this young monkey was Chichi.

Chichi loved to play always. Infact he loved playing more than he loved to eat. Another thing about Chichi was that he doesn't like to obey instructions.

Each time Chichi' mother gave him instructions or task to do,he would run off to play without doing them. Sometimes his mother would've him the task of gathering food or climbing the trees but he flaunted those instructions. He preferred to go play with his friends.

On this particular day, as Chichi and his mother where on their way back from an evening stroll, he saw a mango tree with lots of ripe mangoes, with so much excitement, Chichi rushed to climb it.

His mother shouted "Chichi be careful, use the branches carefully"

Chichi ignored the words of his mother, he just kept climbing the tree without caution and suddenly one of the branches he landed on cracked and fell off and Chichi fell heavily on the mud. He even got stuck on the mud and was struggling to stand up.

Many animals laughed so hard at him when they saw him fell, he was so embarrassed. The animals didn't even come to help him so he finally struggled and stood up. He went home in shame without any mangoes.

When he got home, his mother already knew what happened because the news has already spread across the forest that Chichi fell. His mother just helped him clean up. As she cleaned him up, she made a comment.

"Discipline simply means doing the right things even when you prefer to do something else"

Those words went deep into the heart of Chichi that day. And from that day, Chichi leant the lesson of discipline, he made up his mind to pay attention to instructions and to be more disciplined.

He also reduced how he played, rather than runway to play , he spent more time helping his mother gather food, run errands and climb trees with caution.

And in no time, Chichi leant how to climb the thoughess trees so easy. And he was admired by many.
