Ruth Cooks: Quick And Easy Breakfast!

My Easter holidays began yesterday, meaning I get two weeks off teaching (yeah!). So, I woke up, had coffee and also had an irresistible desire to get in the kitchen and make something quick, easy and tasty to share with @trumpman. I've watched several facebook videos wit easy snack recipes and this is one of them:

Bread stuffed with bacon and cheese and baked in the oven!

A piece of cake. I had never tried it before (neither did I remember the exact recipe, but it was easy to put it together).

I had some stale mini loaves on which I carved pockets. Then, I drenched the loaves in a mixture of egg and milk, some pepper and smoked paprika. I placed the loaves in a baking tray and filled the pockets with small pieces of cheese and bacon.

Added some extra pepper on top and a few small lumps of margarine (I didn't have butter) and in the oven for 15-20'

Trust me, it is really easy and if eaten hot, it is a delicious snack!

Ask @trumpman what he thought of it!

Poor Hera could only smell (muahahaha - evil laugh!)
