Places To Visit In Barcelona

Visiting Barcelona, Spain was a true experience! The three must visit spots for someone who enjoys art would be the Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell by Gaudi and the Picasso Museum. I was unfamiliar with Gaudi’s work and never imagined that architecture could be turned into such an extravagant canvas. The detail of the Sagrada Familia with the angels, Bible verses and the nativity scene on such an enormous structure was awe-inspiring. Visiting the Parc Guell by Gaudi was fantastic, the many colors and intricate shapes and designs made by the tile that details all the buildings in the area are beautiful. The most amazing part about the Parc Guell was the powerful shine that came from the buildings and structures decorated ornately with tile which reflect the sun’s light. Lastly, the Picasso Museum provided me with such an insight on the genius of Picasso. The museum is located in several grand, gothic mansions and shows the development of the renowned artist through his earliest works. Barcelona is the art enthusiast’s dream come true!
