Morning Long Ride
I just finished a 73.059km cycling that lasted about 3hh:12mm:43ss !
Been a bit of a long day. We planned on riding for three hours this morning, hoping to head south of Auckland, over to the beach, then catch the train home.
With just over 70km done and we were sipping our post ride coffee's and remembered the trains would not be running today due to track works. We walked along to the replacement buses hoping we would still be able to get a ride home. But no success.
It was all good. We sat, drank our coffee and then got back on our bikes for another 14kms to get home. Lucky this time of year is pretty quiet and we didn't really need to get home any time quickly. It was a nice day out and relaxing before I head back to work tomorrow.

Awesome ride! I gotta get some exercise in over the break here.. Spending a bit too much time relaxing and eating.
Yeah I know what you mean. We are lucky we have no real family in Auckland so are able to get away with spending time out on the road.
This is the first activity you've shared in this distance range! Post a few more, and we'll have some historic data to compare with! Keep getting EXHAUSTED!
