The National Museum is closed only on Fridays and holidays of the week. The inspection schedule varies slightly depending on the day and month. Also, holidays including Victory Day, Independence Day, 1st February,
And Pahela Baisakh is observed as an open day for museum visitors.

The National Museum is open from April to September from 10:30 AM to 5:30 PM, during the summer, and Fridays from 3 PM to 8:00 PM. October through March, or 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the winter months National Museum is open on Fridays from 3 pm to 8 pm.
