Internet impartiality and robotics call for emphasis

Internet-related people of Bangladesh have urged the emphasis on internet neutrality or 'net neutrality', robotics and artificial intelligence. On Thursday, two seminars on "Net Nutrition" and "Robotics and Artificial Intelligence and Bangladesh: Application of Business and Industrial Automation" were held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Thursday. The two seminars were organized on the occasion of BASIS SoftExpo.

Professor M. Roknuzzaman of North South University delivered the keynote speech at the 'Net Neutrality' Seminar. He said, generally if any type of platform provider provides all the services of that platform, then the person providing other services on the same platform cannot access it fairly. This concern is mainly called 'net neutrality' in telecom. All electronic communications sent through mobile networks are considered equally to ensure net neutrality. Discuss the use of policies to resolve such issues can be discussed.

In the speech of Chief Guest, Postal, Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar said, "The Internet is the foundation of building Digital Bangladesh. The demand for the fairness of the Internet is really important. Especially in e-commerce and spreading. We are working to reorganize the BTRC. I hope these issues will be considered. '
