I love cats so much because there are no other creatures like them. They are sweet, loving, friendly, curious, playful and devoted to their families. My husband and I adopted our cat Pepper after he had been abandoned as a kitten. He was very timid and shy at first, but now he has made himself at home with us. We love him dearly and he loves us back. Whether he's waking us up to play at 4:00 a.m. or waiting in the window for us to come home each day, Pepper is the funniest, sweetest cat ever. The sound I love most is the sound of his contented purring when I rub his belly. On the day that we went to the pet adoption, we prayed that God would help us find just the right cat for us and we did! The truth is that Pepper chose us when he came over and started weaving through our legs. I always say that people who don't like cats never had one.
