We Spoke About The #Club5050 Initiative At The Ghana Promosteem Discord Party Today.(10% to @promosteem.com)
Today was the promo steem discord party for Ghanaians and I joined in and here is an update on what happened.
I joined the meeting late because of prayers but I was able to meet the fellows when they were talking of the #club5050
I was able to meet ngoenyi speak a little about the powering up of half of your earnings and she also said almost all the Nigerians she has spoken to about the initiative are fully involved in it.
Nattybongo spoke about solving the issue with the sbd to steem ration and also spoke about the reason why the steemit team was pushing for it so much so that they could at least strike the balance cause it was causing the steem price not to rise.
collinz was also invited to speak about the problems with getting upvotes and how best users can get steem to power up. He also spoke about the challenges we are facing with this new initiative but overall he acknowledged the new initiative and said it was really a great one which will help users build their sp.
Ngoenyi came in and spoke about a few things and the believe she has in the initiative and that she thinks the initiative is a very good one and at the long run will bring positive change to the platform.she spoke about the issue of not getting upvotes as a long time problem and did not just start because of th new #club5050 initiative and she recommended all of us to actually have a look at Sapwood’s assignment task to understand why the initiative was introduced.
Nattybongo came in and also spoke more on what Ngoenyi said and adviced us to stake more.
Njaywan came in and spoke a little about the history of steemit. Spoke about the vision that steemit had with the creation of steem. He spoke about how the curation works on steemit. He spoke about the draining power the curators have and he also spoke more on the #club5050 initiative and said we should look at it from a broader perspective cause in the long run it will benefit us.
When njaywan finished the floor was opened for questions and suggestions.
I was glad to join in on the meeting as we spoke about a lot of beneficial stuff.
