Walking down a street in my city I found this typical situation that is perceived every day in my country, Venezuelan, nothing different to this young woman and her baby with the others who every day review with a hurry and some hope the garbage bags that are in the streets. Seeing this is my everyday life, it would occupy all the memory of my phone if I took a photo every time this situation appears to my eyes, but I don't know if it is the fact that tonight is over this year or tomorrow another, full of that longed for hope that many of us have or at least wish to have, or suddenly it seemed to me to show this image by this way to see if in some remote place of this community there will be someone who will pray a prayer for my people, because if only tonight , while you make the usual and full of harmony Christmas dinner, you think about this young woman, you will be contributing in some way with my people, with me.

I keep thinking about all the things that have been lost in my country by a group of people who took power a few years ago and the simple fact that we didn't know how to organize ourselves to do something about it weighs us down every day in our journey. That happy Christmas in which the whole family gathered at a table full of food, left; However, with the little we have, we try to smile and share with those who need it.

Commonly we complain about things we have, we want something better or simply out of vanity we want to change it, ignoring the true value of things and that somewhere in the world there are people who would like to have what we have, even if it is not enough !! I think this photo perfectly reflects what I'm trying to say.

With a certain knot in the throat and the heart in my hands I write these letters that today I wanted to share with you not to sadden your new year but to reflect on what we really need to be happy.
