YouTube ad policy bans keyword ‘Christian’

When the founder of a Christian veterans group tried to upload a YouTube ad for his organization, he received an odd rejection, informing him the keyword “Christian” was no longer acceptable under the site’s ad targeting policy.

Okay so they are de-monetizing videos that aren't "ad friendly"
but why do the decline ads!? This doesn't seem like a smart business decision.
Normally "investors" in a company which is turning down sales would get upset. But Google's investors have been taken already (their stock gives them no voting rights) and there only hope to get anything is to sell the stock higher so they best shut up and not rock the boat!
