Trump is desperate, he was 'selected' among the others because they needed a scapegoat to dump all the collapsing US issues on his head, and they couldn't find a more suitable person than an official pimp. Now that elections are near and he wants to be re-selected he needs any victory on any front against any country, his problem all the countries he picked a fight with he had an excellent chance to achieve in friendly matters what all his predecessors failed to achieve by intimidating, he chose a higher tier of intimidation instead and this is backfiring on the very status of the USA among all nations.
