When I went to China, I found that mopeds were really common. It's hard to get your license there, there are too many cars as is!
Just learned that we are about to get a bike-share system here in Pensacola, Florida, USA. I think the rate will be $15/mo $75/year and there will be subsidized deals for those on government subsidy. Now we just have to undo the Urban Sprawl that makes biking around here so stressful.
I love the bike sharing economy here. I can take a public bike for 1 hour for free of charge. I use them everyday to get back and forth to work.
