🌲🌲🌲Happy TreeTuesday!🌲🌲🌲
My entry for TreeTuesday challenge initiated by @old-guy-photos.
This is the story of our silver fir, a tree which became a member of our family.
Seven years ago, my uncle brought home three trees: a pine, a thuja and a small silver fir. He got them as a present from a friend, a forester.
We had no plans for re-designing the garden but we couldn't just throw them away.
The trees were planted and all was fine for the pine and the thuja. The little fir however was not doing too good: it was small and started to look quite yellowish. My mom's daisies were bigger than it.
We did not give up on it and kept the little tree in the yard. Years passed by and our fir became the king of the garden. It is my kids' favorite tree and everytime they visit their grandma, they wish for Christmas to come. The next photo will explain this. 🙂
