These are some photos of a small Bavarian village situated on the Alz River in the County of Traunstein.

Dies sind einige Fotos von Altenmarkt an der Alz, einem kleinen bayerischen Dorf im Landkreis Traunstein.

It is a small community of about four thousand people, the river is lovely and there is also a beautiful cloister nearby. Not exactly what you would call a vacation destination, but a nice excursion if you happen to live nearby. There was a lot of traffic on the main road when we were there, but we discovered a duck paradise along the river banks. Es ist eine kleine Gemeinde von etwa viertausend Menschen, der Fluss ist wunderschön und es gibt auch einen wunderschönen Kreuzgang in der Nähe. Nicht genau das, was man als Urlaubsziel bezeichnen würde, aber ein schöner Ausflug, wenn man in der Nähe wohnt. Es gab viel Verkehr auf der Hauptstraße als wir dort waren, aber wir entdeckten ein Entenparadies entlang des Flussufers.
