anyone can create dapps or use data on the blockchain however he wants to without anyone's permission, which is lovely.
realistically, not everyone will be influencers/leaders. we still have a long way to go, but ever so slowly we're inching towards decentralization. steem is still ruled by steemit inc, but i hope to see some big changes in the future.
Yes, absolutely true thoughts, and many are not aware in big picture that's why many people wait for others to take action and that's why inturn control moves towards few, but if this approach change then collectively we can push this Economy effectively.
