Back in my college days I definitely skipped class a couple times to take part in Smash tournaments with friends in the dorm. I knew people who bought a Wii console solely to play this game, and they played it so much to make spending near 500 dollars actually worth it. We played so much a couple of us actually got good with the Captain Olimar and Mr. Game and Watch, which at first we thought were the worst characters. Once you get good they are practically the best. Oh and can't forget about suicide missions with your enemy in Kirby's mouth haha worst way to go out.
sounds like you played a lot of smash bros! i remember mr game and watch was interesting but i kinda stayed away from him. i liked marth and dk. for game cube there was a mission where you have to hit the punching bag as far as you can. i definitely enjoyed that too. i'm too busy these days but if i get a chance i'd bring all my friends in and play a bunch of console games.
i know people who still play this for hours.... on N64 haha

I remember back to 5-7 grade in the school, when we had a summer vacation, My little brother,me and my ex-step-brother would set up alarms to wake us up at 06:30 so that we could play when father was in work. We also sometimes played secretly during night, because we had permission to only play about an hour max. My little brother and ex-step-brother had once accidently played to 05:20 am, 10 minutes before my father would wake up to work. Good thing my little brother noticed how much clock was.
yea i remember i had to have permission too. but my parents had a bit of slack i could still play for a few hours. then there was this japanese guy who had every console. there were so many games that i enjoyed i can't even remember all their names. good old times.
oh yeah, we mainly played Conquer Online and Warcraft 3 custom games. Sometimes Diablo 2.

I really do like all the iterations of the game, but the original on the N64 was something special indeed.
