Traditional Khmer wedding

Hello steemians,

Today i want to introduce our: Traditional Khmer wedding!
Because i've been asking by @suerisue.
She is from Thailand and i'm from Cambodia, even though my grandfather was also Thais! I can only speak Khmer language and a little bit Thais from my mother's side.
Thailand and Cambodia are close neighbor country and our traditional wedding ceremonie looks also very similar.
So here are the pictures @suerisue and i hope you like it!

We have a lot ceremonies that roots back from the buddha period.
All those ceremonies has to do with mythical love stories that date back around that time.
If you want to marry in Cambodian style, it will took you more than three days to do the whole ceremonies.
That's why many Cambodian people around this period skip some of the ceremonies and choose only the important part one.
Every story has one ceremonie and one song according the rules of our ancient law book, the book call Khmer Wedding Rules of Oknha Nov.
We hired artist to perform a song playing and describing the God Vesandor Borom Pothisat who are arranging the marriage between his children.
At that time King Preah Chey Chesda Thebdey give order to Oknha Nov to made the rules of Cambodian wedding and let him draw the book. And till this days, we still keeping our heritage forward.
We have many beautiful wedding outfit that change every year, only the details of flowers and the top looks a bit different.
For travellers who visit Cambodia, if you want you can also made a pictures in a weddings outfit.
