What do you understand by the word Yellow?

Yellow is a unique sharp, smart and vibrant color which signifies sunshine, beauty, warmth, positivity, brightness and beauty. It is also one of the primary color in the Color Spectrum. This means that other colors cannot be combined to get it but it can be combined to get other Secondary colors. It has other shades which includes: Amber, Golden etc. Yellow color is mostly associated with masculinity, this means that it is usually seen as a boys color.

What if plants were colored yellow and not green?

If plants were to be colored yellow instead of green, it will look beautiful but it will also have negative impact on the plants. Chlorophyll is a natural colouring green pigment in plants which helps plants to grow well by enabling them to absorb sunlight. So if plants should be colored yellow, they won't be able to absorb sunlight and this will result to stunted growth and this is the major reason why yellow pigmentation in plant is seen as deficiency.

The sunlight is coloured yellow. It refers to the sun rays seen when the sun approaches the earth. The sunlight is a beautiful phenomena. Sunlight is also used to denote hope, brightness, joy, happiness, warmth, comfort, victory and this is the reason why the adage after rain comes sunshine exists. Due to the beauty of sunlight, it is usually sought by photographers when taking pictures because of the effect it has on pictures. It also makes the environment beautiful and unique whenever it appears. Sunlight is also a natural form of light.

• The ripe Banana

Another beautiful thing coloured yellow is the ripe banana. Banana is a staple fruit in Nigeria my Country. The banana fruit is succulent and widely enjoyed by everyone. It can be eaten alone, as a desert or used in preparing smoothies. It is highly nutritious.

Yellow is a well loved colour in my family. My elder brother's best colour is yellow color, even my mom and my friend's best colour is yellow.
