Monomad ~ Magnolia tree

Something of an abstraction here. I took some pulled back shots with the whole tree but liked this one the most.

I really like these elegant trees a lot. The shiny dark leaves and the big white blooms... And have you smelled them? Ahhhh

After the blooms die they have these velvety, furry seed pods with scarlet red seeds that i think are quite fab! We used to throw them at each other and pretend they were grenades when we kids... bad kids we were
